Molly Hebert-Wilson
“I saw Molly at the top of the musical ladder in 2008. Since then, she’s added more rungs than one can imagine!” Mike Haley, film producer

Molly Hebert-Wilson in Ireland, 2009
Singer Molly Hebert-Wilson studies Irish culture and language and musical theater at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. A member of NYU’s Irish Folk Group at Ireland House, Molly embodies her Irish, French and English-language songs with every ounce of character and meaning, whether she’s treading the paths of comedy or tragedy.
Performing with her mother, noted Franco-American fiddler and teacher Donna Hébert, Molly sings in three of her mother’s ensembles with guitarist and friend Max Cohen. With Irish accordion legend John Whelan, Donna and guitarists Flynn Cohen and Max Cohen, they explore the boundaries between Irish and French-Canadian music. With Donna, Max and Celtic fiddler Katherine First, they are Mist Covered Mountains. Also performing with Donna and Max, Molly traveled to Florida with them in 2010.

An Irish-language tutor, she teaches children and families in the NYC area and spent summer 2009 at Trinity College in Dublin, where she also sang her way through the pubs of Ireland! Molly has sung in English and French informally and onstage since early childhood with her mother.

Little Sally in Urinetown
Molly is also a veteran of more than thirty theater and music productions in Western Massachusetts since 1998. Hampshire Shakespeare Company roles include Hero (Much Ado About Nothing), Ophelia (Hamlet), Bottom (Midsummer Night’s Dream). Other local roles include Little Sally (Urinetown), Monkestrap (CATS!), Horton (Seussical) and a stint in Rosemary Caine’s Wilde Irish Women, where she met film producer Mike Haley (Angels in America, Closer, Charlie Wilson’s War), who played the lead.
A huge fan, Mike raves, “I saw Molly at the top of the musical ladder a year ago (2008). Since then, she’s added more rungs than one can imagine!”
